  Observation. Attendance records were reviewed. Child absences were not recorded. Attendance records are required to be kept, including if a child is absent. Submit by November 14, 2025, confirmation and evidence that all absences are being recorded.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. A substitute care provider is employed to cover temporary absences. The employee's records were reviewed. The immunization status and work history were missing. All required records are to be obtained prior to an employee starting. Submit by November 14, 2025, confirmation that the missing records are now in the employee’s file.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The outdoor play space check had been completed, however there was animal faeces, an open garden shed, and equipment stacked up and unable to be used in a safe manner outside. The Licensee said they had not been outside that day.

• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. The children did not wash their hands prior to eating lunch.

  Observation. The facility experienced an unexpected closure. A reportable incident was not sent to Licensing for this "Service Delivery Problem".

• Is the facility’s radon gas level in compliance with the 200 Bq/m3 limit ?Non-critical

  Observation. The radon levels at the facility are over the acceptable level of 200 Bq/m3, being 210 Bq/m3. A radon mitigation plan is required.

• C8.2 - Is each child provided a comprehensive and coordinated program of developmentally appropriate activities that encourages physical, intellectual, language, emotional, and social development?Non-critical

  Observation. Older children were being offered up to 60 minutes of screen time on the days screen time was offered.

• C3.2 - Are persons qualified and appropriately replaced?Critical

  Observation. While the Licensee was absent, children were supervised by an adult who did not hold a responsible adult qualification

• C9.1 - Are there plans and actions in place to ensure medications are stored and administered properly?Non-critical

  Observation. The time medication had been administered had not been recorded.

• C8.2 - Is each child provided a comprehensive and coordinated program of developmentally appropriate activities that encourages physical, intellectual, language, emotional, and social development?Non-critical

  Observation. Children were not provided with any outdoor playtime on the day of the inspection.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The hot water was tested and found to be 52 degrees Celsius.

• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. Soiled diapers were being disposed of in a bin in the kitchen.

  Observation. Two child registration records were incomplete. One was missing the medical insurance number, and the other was missing the start date.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. The Licensee was absent and the person supervising the children did not have a staffing file holding the required documents.

• Has the facility been tested for radon gas?Non-critical

  Observation. Licensing has not received radon results for this facility.
