    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. During this inspection Licensing observed wash basin used for children's handwashing had visible stains of dirt and paint inside and around the washbasin. Staff explained usually washbasin is cleaned daily but was missed yesterday due to change in staff schedule.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that washbasin used for handwashing for children is cleaned daily.

    Observation. Licensing officer reviewed 3 staff files and 1 staff file had no valid criminal record check. The manager stated criminal record check was applied last month and are still waitiing for the results . Licesning did see the evidence of the submitted CRC application in staff file. .

    Corrective action. Please ensure that all staff records are complete before start of employment.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that all staff who are hired to work with children who require extra support have the appropriate experience and training.
