  Observation. Some of the facilities emergency evacuation supplies were found to be outdated. Insufficient emergency evacuation supplies pose increase risk to children in an emergency. Submit to licensing by December 3, 2025, evidence the emergency supplies have been replenished.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. One staff file did not contain evidence the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs. Incomplete staff records may increase risk to the health and safety of children. This was cleared during the inspection. One staff ECE certificate has not been validated by the licensee using a system established by the director of the early childhood educator registry. Incomplete staff records may increase risk to children. Submit to licensing by December 3, 2025, evidence the staff certificate has been validated.

• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. One educator's license to practice was not displayed in the facility, and was not available at time of inspection. Ensure each staff certificate is displayed in a prominent place within the facility.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. A review of staff records was conducted during the inspection. One staff file did not contain criminal record clearance, one educator certificate has not been validated. Ensure each staff that is present in the facility has a clear criminal record clearance letter and a complete file.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. A review of the children's files was conducted. Some child files were missing start dates, and photo's. Ensure all the required records for identifying each child's personal information is complete prior to the child starting care.

• C6.1 - Are acceptable hygiene practices maintained?Non-critical

  Observation. It was observed there is no system in place to ensure food safe temperatures in the refrigerator in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Children in the Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program were observed using ink bingo dabblers as an art activity. The bingo dabbers were labelled, "keep out of reach of children."
