  Observation. Licensing officer was unable to observe CRC,work history ,references and verification of the certificates. The manager stated that the HR is responsible for those records.

  Observation. CCFL reviewed staff files and compared them to staff lists provided by the facilities. Several incomplete and missing files were observed and some staff members listed in the provided staffing list did not have a file.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. Lo noted one child's medication for asthma was expired from October 2024.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. LO noted the following - the lid on one of the toilet's tank located in the children's bathroom was damaged and had some tape on it. The damage is posing a risk for injuries - no thermometer was available in the freezer to monitor the temperature

  Observation. LO noted the door leading towards the staff bathroom and laundry room was not secured;cleaning items were accessible to children. This door previously had a latch

  Observation. LO noted several children records were missing the following information: -starting date not recorded on file -immunization status -a medical practitioner and contact information

  Observation. The fire extinguisher tag indicate that service have expired on September 14, 2023

  Observation. LO was informed that outdoor daily inspections were performed however a written record was not maintained for several months.
