  Observation. Licensing observed for the year 2025, no outdoor playground checks were completed by staff. The Licensee has blank outdoor playground inspection checklists on site and plans to start recording and conducting daily playground checks.

  Observation. Licensing observed 2 care plans were missing from children's files.

  There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that the food in the emergency supplies has expired.

  A record for each child containing the name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing reviewed all children's records and found that one child is missing their medical insurance information.

  There is an established program to instruct children in, and to practise the rules of, health and hygiene. [CCLR Sec. 46(1)]

  Observation. There were no single use towels to dry hands in the washroom. There was a roll in the kitchen.

  The medications are not being administered to the child in the amount and/or at the times specified by the child's parent or in the child's record or care plan.  [CCLR Sec. 53(1)(a)]

  Observation. There is one child in attendance who requires an Epi Pen however, there is no signed care plan present.

• PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / Play Area, Materials and EquipmentNon-critical

  The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

  Observation. There are areas at the base of the fence that could pose an entrapment concern as the gap is between 3.5'-9". The gate has a latch but is not self closing.
