    Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

    Observation. Licensing was unable to observe any records of an emergency plan. The Licensee informed Licensing that they have discussed the emergency plan but have not been conducting drills. While not in non-compliance, fire drills are conducted and recorded monthly.

    Observation. There were fabric towels available to each child to be used for the day, not individual use.

    A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

    Observation. In the outdoor play space there was a bin / bag of de-icer, there were bins piled on top of each other covered with a tarp that were not secure, there was debris on top of a bin in the North east corner that was not secure.

    A record for each child containing a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency is not kept. [CCLR Sec. 57(2)(g)]

    Observation. Some children's photos need to be updated as they do not accurately represent the child's current appearance. One child was missing emergency consent forms.
