11200 - CCLR s.17 - RECORDS AND REPORTING
In respect of a record referred to in this Division, a licensee must (a) keep in a single place at the community care facility the records referred to in sections 56 to 58. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed that the file for one staff present today was not available at the community care facility.
Corrective action. The manager retrieved the staff's file from a different facility location that they have nearby, and brought the files over during the inspection to this facility. Ensure that all staff files are on-site, which includes on-call staff that will be working in this facility location.
19320 - CCLR s.59(a) - RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): One child's time of arrival was not recorded in today's attendance sheet.
Corrective action. It is the responsibility of the facility staff to ensure this information is recorded in an event parents forget to write it on the attendance sheet.

Observation. Licensing observed that one staff's CRC was not on file. A document stated that it is in process, and there was also a CRC for this staff from a college.
Corrective action. Ensure that the CRC is site specific, and should be fully completed before staff start working at the facility.
