- RECORDS AND REPORTING
A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2/5 children's files with parents as listed emergency contacts. Licensing acknowledges that one of these children no longer attends the facility and that this is the last week of the school year (preschool; program does not operate during the summer). Licensing and the Manager discussed an emergency contact as an individual who is not the parent and who can contact the parent when the facility cannot. For September's enrollment, the Manager will be mindful of this information.
Corrective action. Please ensure an emergency contact is an individual that is not the parent/guardian.
