• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed that in the bathroom a cleaning product (in a container with a cap) for the bathroom floors was stored in a place accessible to children.

  Corrective action. During the inspection, the facility manager moved this item in a place no longer accessible to children.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed the following: - One child's time of arrival today was not recorded - Absent children have not been recorded on the attendance sheet

  Corrective action. The facility manager recorded the child's time of arrival during the inspection, and said that moving forward all absent children will be recorded on the attendance sheet.
