  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment]. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Though the fire drill was completed with children for the month of October 2025 as said by the facility manager, there was no record of the drill on file.

  Corrective action. Ensure drills are completed and recorded.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (b) date of enrolment in the community care facility. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A child's start date only listed the month & year.

  19080 - CCLR s.57(2)(b)

• STAFFING

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.

  Observation. The manager's CRC expired on 08/Sep/2022.

  Corrective action. The manager's CRC must be renewed. In the meantime, she cannot work alone w/ children or assist w/ diapering/toileting.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status.

  Observation. *Repeat violation from FIR #CGEE-BUEQTZ (15/Oct/2020)* CCFL reviewed 12 children's files. None specified their genders.

  Corrective action. All requirements of s.57 must be obtained by children's 1st date of care.

• STAFFING

  A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation)

  Observation. 2 employees' most recent certificates haven't been verified yet.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

  Observation. FHA reviewed 3 children's files & found that 2 children lacked any medical practitioner's contact information.

  Corrective action. All requirements of CCLR s. 57 must be obtained by children's 1st day of care.

  Observation. FHA reviewed 3 children's files & found that none of the children's genders were documented.

  Corrective action. All requirements of CCLR s. 57 must be obtained by children's 1st day of care.
