  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (c) a record respecting compliance with section 22 (2) (b) and (c) [emergency training and equipment].

  Observation. Licensing noted there was no record of an emergency drill being completed in the past year. The licensee said it was practiced, however it was not recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure a current record is kept respecting compliance with section 22(2)(b)(c) of the CCLR.

  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (f) a log of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children, that did not require medical attention and were not reportable incidents described in Schedule H.

  Observation. Upon discussion with the Licensee, it was confirmed that minor incidences have occurred, however these incidences have not been documented.

  Corrective action. Ensure records are kept of minor accidents, illnesses and unexpected events involving children in care.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At the time of inspection there was cleaning supplies located in the bathtub accessible to the children. The Licensee removed this during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided and cleaning products are inaccessible to children in care.

  A licensee must ensure that a child's medication is not accessible to any child, except that a child may have access to his or her own medication if (a) the child's parent has instructed the licensee to permit this. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Medication was located in a child's backpack accessible to children in care. The Licensee moved this during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure medication is inaccessible to children in care.

  A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (a) the diagnoses relevant to the child's requirement for extra support, as made by health care professionals.

  Observation. 1 child requiring a care plan does not have one created.

  Corrective action. Ensure that each child requiring a care plan has a current care plan.
