  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Cleaning supplies were kept within reach of children in the bathrooms and one classroom

  Corrective action. The Manager removed the cleaning products and reminded staff to ensure they are put back out of reach of children.

  Observation. The sinks in the bathrooms had a temperature of 50.3 degrees.

  Corrective action. The Manager said she will turn the temperature down and ensure staff check the taps daily

  Observation. A parent was not notified when a child became ill while in care.

  Corrective action. Corrective action plan submitted.

  A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.

  Observation. A care plan does not include the course of action recommended by health care professionals for a child requiring additional support.

  Corrective action. The Manager will communicate with the family to revise care plan to be accurate with families needs

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Licensing noted multiple areas of laminate/concrete flooring in the kitchen area has pieces missing. The manager said a plan is in place for a temporary fix until repairs can be completed.

  Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility is in good repair while the children are in attendance.
