  Observation. Licensing reviewed 8 staff files and found 2 files contained expired Criminal Record Checks

  Corrective action. The acting manager said the criminal record checks will be obtained

  Corrective action. Supervisor said the fire extinguishers will be serviced within the next week.

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. the chair and book case in the osc room is in poor repair

  Corrective action. please ensure these items are replaced or repaired

  Observation. Copies of any diplomas, certificates or other evidence of the person's training and skills were not obtained.

  Corrective action. ECE validation not available for one staff please ensure the validation is completed

• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed a large pail of paint with an unsecured lid, located in the 3-5 room closet accessible to children in care. The staff made the paint inaccessible while licensing was on site.

  Corrective action. Ensure children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to their health or safety.
