  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Fridge temperature not maintained between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius.

  Corrective action. Please ensure the refrigerator temperature is maintained between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius.

  Observation. Criminal Record Check not obtained.

  Corrective action. Please ensure all staff have a valid criminal record check.

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

  Observation. One of the children in care at the time of the inspection was not included in the record of attendance. The manager corrected this during the inspection. This is a repeat contravention.

  Corrective action. Please ensure to keep an accurate recorad of attendance at all times.

  A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility the certificate, or a copy of the certificate, of any educator or assistant employed to work in the community care facility.

  Observation. Upon inspection, one staff working in the facility did not have her certificate posted in a prominent place.

  Corrective action. Please ensure staff certificates are displayed in a predominant place.
