STAFFING
A licensee must ensure that children have at all times immediate access to an employee who (a) holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, provided on completion of a course that meets the requirements of Schedule C.
Observation. Upon inspection the managers first aid was expired. She explained she opens in the morning and the second staff comes in approximately 1.5 hours later.
Corrective action. The manager said she will schedule herelf into a first aid course and amend the schedule to ensure staff have access to someone who holds a valid first aid and CPR that meets the requirements of Schedule C.
