  Observation. There was no record of last year's earthquake drill from the school age program.

  Corrective action. Please ensure a record of yearly emergency drills.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed 3 children's files and a record of a photo was missing for one child.

  Corrective action. Please ensure each child has a photograph or digital image.

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Licensing observed that a floor mat was torn in multiple places exposing foam.

  Corrective action. Please ensure the facility, furniture, equipment and fixtures are in good repair.

  A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

  Observation. Licensing observed that various cleaning supplies were stored in the open in one of the 3 washrooms. The staff member said children would not be using that washroom today.

  Corrective action. Please ensure children do not have access to hazardous substances.

  The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  Observation. It was identified that a child requires a care plan to address a medical condition. The staff member was aware of the child's medical condition and how to support the child.

  Corrective action. Please ensure care plans are created in consultation with parents and any person requested by the parent.
