  Observation. Some child records are missing required information such as medical insurance number, and the name and contact details of a medical practitioner. Complete and current records are required for each child. Submit by February 11, 2026, confirmation that all children's records have the required information. Child attendance records do not record absences, and some departure times are missing. Accurate attendance records are required for each child. Submit by February 11, 2026, confirmation that attendance records accurately reflect each child's arrival, departure time and any absences. There is no record of medication given to a child. When medication is administered employees must record the time and dosage of the medication given. Submit by February 11, 2026, confirmation that each time medication is given the required information is recorded. There is no care plan for a child who requires additional support for language development. Care plans are required to be developed for any child who requires extra support, and should be developed in consultation with the parent and any person requested by the parent. Submit by February 11, 2026, confirmation that a care plan has been developed for any child who requires extra support.

  Observation. The name of the Manager was not displayed in a prominent location within the facility.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Employee records were reviewed, one staff member's immunization status was missing.

• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. The Licensee did not immediately notify Licensing of a change to their hours of operation. Corrected prior to the inspection.

  Observation. Attendance records were reviewed, it was found that child absences were not being recorded.

  Observation. There was no record that one early childhood certificate had been validated through the BC ECE registry.

  Observation. The facility had a service delivery problem and was closed; this reportable incident was not reported to Licensing. At least one child had an incomplete registration form; they were missing the child's medical insurance number and immunization status. Not all children were signed out consistently. At least two children did not have a digital image able to be used in an emergency to identify the child. Daily play space checks were not consistently recorded.
