    Observation. A record of fire drills for the current year (2026) was not available to be reviewed at the time if this inspection. The Licensee indicates that the drills have been practiced monthly. Ensure that a record of practiced fire drills is maintained and available for review by Licensing. Submit a response to Licensing with evidence of compliance by April 1, 2026.

    Observation. Children were not receiving continuous supervision. The Licensee has some children sleeping in the upper level and other children in the lower level of the home.

    Observation. The Licensee is using the backyard on a regular bases during winter. This space is not licensed and the Licensee has not provided a notification of change to Licensing.

    Observation. One of the mattresses used for rest time is in poor condition. A child was upstairs on their own, and had access to hazardous items, such as sharp knives, cleaning products etc.

    Observation. Parents are not informed of the food given to children by the Licensee.

    Observation. The arrival and departure times are not being recorded for each child. The Licensee's own children are not recorded on the attendance sheet. Some digital images are older and are no longer a good likeness of the child. Outdoor play space logs are still not being completed. This contravention is outstanding from 07-May-2021.

    Observation. An unwell child was not receiving close supervision, as the child was alone up stairs.
