    Observation. One staff member working did not have a staffing file available during inspection. As per Section 19 of the CCLR, a Licensee must not employ a person until all required documents have been obtained. Submit by November 7, 2025, how you have addressed the requirement to obtain all the listed records under Section 19 of the CCLR.

Reminder to log all outdoor play space inspections, maintenance and repairs.

    Observation. The complaint information received alleges the following: 1. A child was left alone inside the facility without any supervision. Licensing determined that a child in care was not provided with continuous supervision; therefore the allegation is substantiated. The licensee has submitted an incident report regarding a missing child, notifying Licensing of the reportable incident. 2. The facility is operating without the correct qualified staff in the program. The allegation of non-compliance is unable to be substantiated. Licensing's investigation was based on the review of the information gathered which included: staff interviews, facility documentation and observations while on-site.

    Observation. While investigating the allegations, the following contraventions were found: 1. The facility's food and drink policy is not current and requires updating. 2. Discovered that an employee failed to implement the facility's behavioural guidance policy as written.

    Observation. The complaint information received alleged a child was left alone outside unsupervised. The licensee submitted an incident report regarding a missing child, notifying Licensing of the reportable incident. Licensing determined that a child in care was not provided with continuous supervision; therefore the allegation is substantiated. The complaint information received alleged the facility is operating without the correct number of staff. During the investigation, Licensing reviewed facility documentation provided by the licensee and conducted staff interviews. Based on the information received, Licensing determined that the program was operating without adequate staff to child ratios and required staff qualifications; therefore the allegation is substantiated. The licensee must submit to Licensing by the follow up date requested the following: - A revised policy addressing the care and continuous supervision of children in care and must take inconsideration procedures for staff when transitioning children. - A system the licensee has developed to monitor and ensure compliance. - An updated staffing plan demonstrating compliance with applicable legislation.

    Observation. During the inspection of the IT program there appeared to be a lack of equipment and toys for the age of the children. Please ensure there is enough equipment and toys for all children in the program with some extra supply for rotation.

    Observation. One child was missing from the infant/toddler program attendance list. This was corrected during inspection. Reviewed medication procedures and found the facility was not keeping record of any medication administered to a child, including the amount and the time at which the medication was administered. The facility was ensuring there was written parental consent.

    Observation. Licensee submitted the recent radon testing results however the company declined the submission due to processing error. Licensee will follow up with the company to resolve the matter or redo the radon testing if required.
