  Observation. The facility’s emergency supplies did not have enough water supply that could be taken during an evacuation. Lack of hydration can lead to dehydration, heat-related illness, and increased distress among children, potentially impacting their overall health and safety.   Observation. Found the emergency information did not have other information such as hair and eye colour. The Child Care Licensing Regulation requires that current records for each child contain identifying personal information. In the event of an emergency this information can be used to identify a child. The program is closed for the summer and will re-open in September. Submit by, September 1, 2026, how you have addressed this requirement.

  Observation. The licensing officer discovered a care plan that lacked evidence of parental consultation. Developing a care plan in consultation with the parent ensures that children requiring extra support receive safe and supportive care, and to support employees to know how to respond to the child. Submit by July 4, 2025, how you have addressed the requirement for consulting with the parent on developing a care plan for the child requiring extra support.
