    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the Licensee: - Due to window installations within the premise, the plastic lining, gyprock and dust on the window sills were accessible to the children. - Naproom's carpet needs good cleaning (to remove several stains) and to ensure that end/edges of the carpet does not pose tripping hazard. - Heavy resources were stored on top of a playhouse; this is a fall hazard ( CORRECTED ON SITE)

    Corrective action. Ensure that a safe and healthy environment is provided at all times while children are in care.

    Observation. 2 playpens used for nap have started to tear (holes in the mesh). LO discussed about ensuring that there is no tears or rips in the mesh or vinyl/cloth that covers the playpen.

    A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following: Playground's chain link fence is damaged; a hole in the chain link fence need to be repaired. LO discussed some strategies to make this hole inaccessible to the children when the playground is in use.

    Corrective action. Please ensured that the facility's furniture, equipment and fixtures are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
