• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The record for the annual emergency plan practice conducted in May 2026 is incomplete. A record must be maintained indicating that each employee has practiced the emergency plan at least once annually. Submit written confirmation and supporting evidence by July 13, 2026, that the record has been completed.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. The immunization status is missing for two employees. Ensure all required employee records are collected prior to a staff member starting work with children. Submit written confirmation by July 13, 2026, that the missing immunization status records have been added to the employee files. The fire drill was not practiced in the month of March 2026. Monthly fire drill practices are required to ensure staff are adequately prepared to respond in the event of a fire. Submit written confirmation by July 13, 2026, that the fire drill will be practiced monthly.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. A child's care plan has not been reviewed within the previous 12 months. Care plans are required to be reviewed at least annually to ensure they continue to meet and support the child's needs. Submit written confirmation by July 13, 2026, that the care plan has been reviewed by the Licensee, the child's parent(s), and any other person requested by the parent(s).

  Observation. Monthly fire drills are completed. Ensure each employee's practice is recorded.

  Observation. A person who is ordinarily present has an expired criminal record check. Ensure all persons who are ordinarily present have a clear and current crc prior to working with or having access to the children.

• C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?Critical

  Observation. Licensing received an allegation of non compliance to Section 34 - Group sizes and employee to child ratios. Based on the information provided at the time of the inspection, the ratio of employee to children, as set out in Schedule E, is not being met. C10.2C Section 34(2)(b) Substantiated Provide to licensing a written plan that assures appropriate employee to child ratios.

• C10.1 - Are children provided with a healthy and safe environment, and protected from harmful actions?Non-critical

  Observation. Licensing received an allegation of non-compliance to Section 51 - Behavioural Guidance. The Licensing Officer spoke with the manager and employees regarding the guidance used during meal times to ensure children remain seated while eating, and determined the guidance is not appropriate. C10.1O Section 51(1)(a) Substantiated Provide to licensing a written plan that assures appropriate guidance during meal times.

• C1.1 - Does the licensee continually inform licensing of any significant changes to the structure or operation of the facility?Critical

  Observation. It was observed the managers name that is posted in the facility is not the same person who is listed as manager in the facility file.

• C9.1 - Are there plans and actions in place to ensure medications are stored and administered properly?Non-critical

  Observation. It was observed some medications located in the facilities medication storage box have expired.
