  Observation. Licensing observed the ECE's certificate was not displayed in a prominent place.

• A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a valid certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the licensee using a system established and maintained by the director of the early childhood educator registry

  Observation. Licensing observed that one of the staff's files was missing an educator veritiication.

  Corrective action. Ensure to obtain the ECE's vertification for their staff file.

  Observation. Children's files are incomplete and are missing the name and number of a medical practitioner and immunization status. Current records for each child must contain all identifying personal information to ensure the health and safety of the child while in care. A response is required by April 27, 2026 to confirm all children's files are complete.

• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Fire drills are not being practiced monthly as required. The fire drill system is required to be practiced monthly by all employees to be prepared in the event of an emergency. A response is required by April 27, 2026 to confirm the fire drills are being conducted as required.

  Observation. One employee file is incomplete and is missing one character reference and evidence the person has complied with the Province's immunization control program. A person must not be employed until the manager has obtained the required records to ensure the person is suitable to work with children. A response is required by April 27, 2026 to confirm employee files are complete.
