  Observation. A review of the minor accidents, illness and unexpected events log revealed a child was involved in an incident which meets the definition of a reportable incident under Schedule H. By the follow up date noted an incident report will need to be submitted.

• C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The fire drill system was not displayed.

• C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

  Observation. Missing from the children's records is a space to record the date on which the child stops attending the community care facility. A child's medical insurance plan number was missing. Written consent was missing from a child's record to call a medical practitioner or ambulance.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Evidence the emergency plan has been practised yearly was not available. This was resolved during the inspection.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. The facilities diaper change mat is in poor repair.
