    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed the following: - A plastic bag was stored at child level in the washroom. - A child playing in and using the facility office. The office is not prepared for use for children and the child has access to items and materials not meant for children.

    Corrective action. Ensure plastic bags are stored out of reach from children and that no children are permitted to enter areas that are not meant for children.

    Observation. A child was brought back from a walk in a wagon that was not meant for transportation of children

    Corrective action. Ensure all equipment used to transport children is meant for this propose and that the manufacturer's instructions are followed.

    A licensee must supply equipment, furniture and supplies that are (b) located so as not to block or hamper an exit in the case of fire or other emergency.

    Observation. One of the fire exits had a piece of furniture blocking the gate leading out of the classroom area. The fire exit sign was covered up by a black film and was not visible.

    Corrective action. Ensure fire exit is not blocked.
