  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. There are various areas within the outdoor play space (along the fence) where thorny vines have started to grow into the play space, accessible to the children in care.

  Corrective action. Please provide a written response to indicate how you will address the contravention noted above on or before March 9, 2026

  The licensee must (b) review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  Observation. -There were multiple care plans that do not appear to have been reviewed in over a year. Discussion had with staff about yearly review (date and parent signature in order to show compliance). -One care plan did not have the medication noted within the care plan on site.

  Corrective action. Please provide a written response to indicate how you will address the contravention noted above on or before March 9, 2026

  Observation. Care plans are in place for children with severe allergies and 2 of the 4 plans have not been updated over the past year. A child with extra support needs does not have a current care plan in place.

  Observation. During inspection of the facility, antihistamine medication was found without instructions on how to administer and in what amounts to treat an allergic reaction.

  Corrective action. Ensure a current care plan is in place showing the course of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child in regards to an allergic reaction.
