Observation. Children were observed moving from one program room to another program room on the other side of the school without supervision. The children need to walk out of sight of the employees to get to each space. The hallway has multiple exits and other rooms children can access between the two program areas the children are expected to walk. Children must be supervised at all times by a qualified person when in care at the facility to ensure their health and safety. A response is required by February 2, 2026 to outline how the risk has been mitigated.

Observation. One child requires an Epi-Pen and an inhaler to be on site at all times when the child is in attendance. Evidence is not on file that the Licensee has agreed with the parent to administer the medications if required. Any medication that may be administered at the facility requires permission from the parent/guardian as well as evidence the Licensee has agreed to administer the medication. A response is required by February 2, 2026 to confirm consents have been required. The Epi-Pen and inhaler for one child are kept in the child's backpack. The backpack is stored in a manner that is accessible to the other children in care. It is the responsibility of the Licensee to ensure that medication is not accessible to the other children in care to maintain the health and safety of all children attending the facility. A response is required by February 2, 2026 that outlines how medication will be stored as required.

Observation. A reportable incident involving a child was noted in the minor incident log book. The incident was not reported to Licensing. Any child involved in a reportable incident as described in Schedule H of the Child Care Regulation must be reported to Licensing within 24 hours of the incident. Report the incident as required and outline the system to ensure all future reportable incidents are submitted within 24 hours.
