- POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation. The contents of the emergency supplies were inspected and it was noted that each child only has one water bottle and one snack bar in their individual ziploc bags. Staff explained that families bring their own supplies for their child and there are no extra food and water provided by the facility. Licensing explained that each child must have enough food and water for 72 hours.
Corrective action. Ensure that the emergency supplies are sufficient for 72 hours.
