• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. - The diaper changing surfaces are not disinfected using a sanitizing solution after each use. This may pose a potential risk of spreading illnesses among children. Submit a response with evidence of compliance by May 21, 2026.

• C10.2 - Are children supervised, and are employee to children ratios maintained?Critical

  Observation. Upon reviewing employee schedule, it was observed that the employee to child ratios were not maintained in one of the Group Child Care (30 months to School Age ) Program. Ensure the ratio of employees to children attending a community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E. Licensing requires a staffing schedule to be submitted for the week of February 3rd that displays each program at the facility, employee names and qualifications. Additionally include the system you have implemented to ensure all staff scheduled are appropriately qualified to meet Schedule E and section 34 of the Child Care Licensing Regulation.

  Observation. The Licensing Officer observed a storage room accessible to children that contained hazardous items. Ensure children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to their health and safety.
