Observation. - The hot water temperature at the bathroom sink measured at 54.7°C. Water temperature exceeding 49°C poses a potential risk of scalding and burns to children. Submit a response with evidence of compliance by March 30, 2026.

Observation. The hot water was tested at 50.4° Celsius. Ensure any heated water accessible to children is heated no more than 49° Celsius. The Licensing Officer notes this as a repeated contravention.

Observation. The Licensing Officer observed incomplete record of fire drills. Ensure fire drill system is practiced at least once each month and a complete record is maintained. The Licensing Officer notes this as a repeated contravention.

Observation. The fire drill record is not up to date. The last fire drill recorded was in August 2023.

Observation. Regulation 17 - Radon results are not within the acceptable limit. This infraction remains outstanding. The licensee advised she has attempted to contact multiple mitigation specialists and cannot get a reply. Licensing is requesting a short term mitigation plan in the interim until a long term mitigation can be completed. A resource has been provided with this report.

Observation. C2.1G - Regulation 56(1)(d); The following policies are required; resources have been sent with this report. * Active Play/Screen Time - Required as per the Director of Licensing Standards of Practice - Active Play * Off Site Activity Plan - There is no on-site outdoor play space and the program utilizes the community park and school. An off site plan must describe how children will be transported to regular or daily outdoor play areas or activities, the routes, distances, toileting plan and any safety hazards.

Observation. C7.1L - Regulation 17; Cleaning products were observed today accessible in the kitchen and washroom lower cabinets. C7.1O - Regulation 47; The hot water was tested today at 52.2 degrees.
