  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that the entire outdoor play area is (a) enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm.

    Observation. There are areas underneath the climber that have no pea gravel covering the ground. Pea gravel needs to be a minimum of 6" deep under all areas of the climber.

    Corrective action. The manager will submit a plan to Licensing outlining how this issue will be addressed.

    Observation. There are areas of rotting wood on the roof edges of the outdoor playhouse.

    Corrective action. Please ensure all areas of the playhouse roof are in good repair.

    Observation. The following were observed during this inspections: -Chair legs are loose on multiple children's chairs. -Rust is present on taps in the children's bathrooms.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that all equipment and fixtures are in good repair.
