Observation. Fire drills for July and August 2025 were not completed and recorded.
Corrective action. Ensure that the monthly fire drills are conducted and recorded.

STAFFING
A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (a) a criminal record check for the person.
Observation. It was observed that two staff CRC records were not site specific. The facility manager said that this has been attempted to be submitted previously, and again today.
Corrective action. Ensure that all CRC records on file are site specifc prior to staff starting at the facility.

STAFFING
A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Immunization status record was not obtained for one employee.
Corrective action. Ensure that staff files are complete prior to starting at the facility.

A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility as (a) an educator or an assistant unless the person holds a certificate issued under Division 2 [Employee Qualifications], which must be verified by the system maintained by the early childhood educator registry. (Educator or assistant certificate validation) Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): It was observed that there was no record of validation for one certificate on file.
Corrective action. Ensure that certificates are validated online.
