    Observation. 3 children's care plans were last updated in 2024.

    Corrective action. Care plans must be reviewed annually (followed by signing & dating the document) w/ parents to discuss any updates to their children's support needs.

    Observation. LO observed and discussed the following with the Manager: Transition strip on the door (playground area) is taped but started to lift; this is a tripping hazard.

    Corrective action. Ensure that facility's furniture, equipment and fixtures within the facility are clean and in good repair.

    Observation. The following was observed in the facility: -Custodian rooms in all three classrooms were unlocked. Various chemicals were present. -2 cans of Shaving cream and laundry detergent were in a covered cupboard on a low shelf. The label on both items read, "keep out of reach of children"

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. The following was observed during the inspection: -A TV on a rolling cart was not anchored. This was not completed on the date specified on the routine inspection. This is a repeat contravention. The TV was in the office but in discussion with the Manager she moves this into the classroom on occassion. Please provide active supervision when the TV is in use until this is completed. -Several electrical outlet covers were missing. This was not completed on the date specified on the routine inspection. This is a repeat contravention.

    Corrective action. Please ensure a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times the children are in care

    Observation. The water temperature was measured. In one room the temperature was measured at 52.2 degrees Celsius.

    Corrective action. Please ensure hot water is heated to no more than 49 degrees Celsius to comply with the legislation. Please ensure active supervision is provided until this is corrected
