    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: (a) empty used ceramic coffee mug left on the children's lunch table accessible to children (b) Cabinet in kitchen has bleach and cleaning solution for pets accessible to children. Cabinet has a lock, however, it was not in use at the time of inspection (c) Fabreeze located at the edge of the bathroom counter, accessible to children (d) Bleach Sanitizer located at the edge of the bathroom counter, accessible to children (e) Drawer located at children's level containing plastic bags was left unlocked and accessible to children

    Corrective action. Director stated they will correct all of the above and speak to staff to ensure cabinets are locked and things are put away safely and away from children's reach.

    Observation. Licensing noted teh fire extinguisher was not serviced annually

    Corrective action. Director stated they will contact families and ensure files are complete and up to date.

    Observation. Upon inspection, Licensing observed cleaning products (bleach) located in the kitchen were accessible to children.

    Corrective action. The Licensee explained that she will lock the cupboards to make them inaccessible to children.

    Corrective action. The Licensee explained that the Infant and Toddler educator will be open and close the program.

    Observation. Upon inspection, Licensing observed the following: -Emergency supplies are not sufficient for 72 hours. -Fire extinguisher has not been serviced annually.

    Corrective action. The Licensee explained that she will add additional items to emergency supplies and that she was unaware that the fire extinguisher is due for service and will look into getting it serviced.

    Observation. Upon review of child records, Licensing found that a child with an indicated allergy on their registration form did not have a care plan outlining the course of action recommended by health care professional.

    Corrective action. The Licensee explained that the allergy is not severe and will follow up with the parent to develop a care plan.
