    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. The following was observed in the outdoor play area: -A slide and a climber were placed close to one another. Please ensure there is a six foot fall radius around this equipment. This is a repeat contravention from inspection # CLAN-D4V8D8. Artificial turf was observed on the ramp to the entrance of the facility and the outdoor play area.This was bumpy in some areas and not secured. This could cause a potential tripping hazard. Please secure this by May 9, 2025

  • EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. A slide was positioned next to a wall in the classroom. The slide must have a six foot fall radius and resilient surfacing around the slide. In addition, while reviewing the children's records an allergy for one of the children was identified. The staff and Manager were unaware of the child's allergy.

    Corrective action. The Manager stated she will reposition the slide in the classroom and post an allergy list in a prominent place.

    Observation. During the inspection the following was observed: -Two loose cords were located on the floor in the nap room. These were accessible to children. This can present a potential hazard. In addition diaper cream and cream with a Drug Identification Number were accessible to children.
