  Observation. During the inspection, Licensing was made aware that the seasonal equipment used for shade had deteriorated and was discarded. As the warmer months are approaching, the Licensee must ensure enough shade is present in the designated outdoor play area to protect children from sunburn and sunstroke. There are trees present in the area, but depending on the time of day would not supply the required shade required. In addition, the structure used for storing the outdoor play equipment and supplies for children is in need of repair or replacement. Deterioration has caused leaking and is collecting standing water and also causing damage to equipment used by the children. Licensing discussed the concern with the Manager and until replacement or repairs are completed children should not have access to the shed. Submit to Licensing by the follow up date requested, confirmation the concerns have been addressed.
