EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): The cable for the baby monitor in the nap room was unsecured, and hung near where a child's nap bed was located.
Corrective action. The cable was removed during the inspection, and the licensee will attach clips later this evening.

EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation. Water temperature for the bathroom sink where children wash hands was tested at 53 degrees Celsius.
Corrective action. The licensee said she will monitor the children when washing hands until the temperature can be adjusted.
