A licensee must not employ a person in a community care facility unless the licensee or, in the case of a person who is not the manager, the manager has first met with the person and obtained all of the following: (f) evidence that the person has complied with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 5 staff files and one staff file was missing a record on of immunization. This is a repeat contravention from 2025.

Corrective action. Manager will add the immunization to the file once the staff provides it.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a) name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number and immunization status. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing reviewed 9 children's files and three children's files were missing a record of immunization.

Corrective action. While licensing was on site, manager emailed parents requesting information regarding the immunization.

Observation. Licensing reviewed staff and volunteer's files and noted that the volunteer file was missing references.

Corrective action. Ensure volunteer's file is complete.

Corrective action. Ensure a record of immunization is available in volunteer's file.

A licensee must ensure that all indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are (b) safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair.

Observation. During the inspection licensing observed that the sails meant to provide shade in both playgrounds had a corner dangling.

Corrective action. Please ensure that sails are hooked up in a safe manner.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

Observation. Licensing reviewed 8 children's files and the following was observed: - one child's file was missing an emergency pick up person - one child's file was missing a doctor's name and phone number.

Corrective action. Please ensure all children's files are complete.

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (c) daily attendance record, indicating for each day whether the child is absent or, if the child is present, the time of arrival and departure.

Observation. During the routine inspection licensing observed that on various days children have not been signed out or in.

Corrective action. Please ensure that accurate attendance is taken and maintained.
