A licensee must not employ as a manager a person who, at the time that the person is managing the licensee's community care facility, is also managing another community care facility. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing noted that the manager who is managing two location had an expired exemption.

Corrective action. Manager showed LO an email that was sent in the morning with a change of manager.

A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

Observation. Licensing observed the following: -IT bedding is stored in a bundle on top of each other in one the playpens -Single towel use to dry hands in IT bathroom -The water hose in the IT playground is spread out in the playground, --Bifold doors is not locked in the IT hallway (corrected during inspection) -Thermometer in IT fridge is missing (corrected during Inspection)

Corrective action. IT teacher will talk the staff to put away the blankets/bedding separately in each cubby after each use and will address other items in consultation with licensee.

A licensee must ensure that children have at all times immediate access to an employee who (a) holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate, provided on completion of a course that meets the requirements of Schedule C.

Observation. Two staff in IT program hold first aid certificate that does not meet the requirements of Schedule C

Corrective action. Two staff who holds first aid certificate that meets the requirements of Schedule C will be working with the other staff while the staff updates their first aid certificates to meet the requirements of Schedule C.
