Observation. Child registration records were reviewed at random. It was observed that some records did not include an emergency contact other than a parent. Having this additional contact helps to ensure a contact will be available in the event of an emergency. Submit by April 17, 2025 written confirmation that all child records include an emergency contact other than a parent. It was observed that written consent from a parent to release a child to someone other than the parent was not present with child registration records at time of inspection. This authorization is required in order to ensure children are released from care in a safe manner. Submit by April 17, 2025, written confirmation that all child records include a written authorization for release to someone other than the parent.
