Observation. Staff records were reviewed and were found to be incomplete. Ensure that required documents such as character reference checks and Early Childhood Educator Certificate validation are obtained prior the staff start of employment.

Observation. The Licensing Officer reviewed some children's records and found some incomplete. Ensure that each child's daily attendance record indicate their time of arrival and departure.

Observation. The Licensing Officer observed an employee performing a routine care with a child. At the time of inspection, the diaper change mat was not sanitized, and the container for soiled clothing was left open after the routine care. Ensure to establish a program to practice the rules of health and hygiene.

Observation. The Licensing Officer observed a climber in the outdoor play area that requires repair. Ensure the facility, furniture, equipment and fixtures are clean and in good repair. The Licensing Officer observed some hazardous items in the kitchen and office that are accessible to children. The Licensing Officer also discussed with the Licensee Contact that although children in care are provided with continuous supervision, any objects or substances that may present a risk to the health and safety of children in care must be made inaccessible. The Licensing Officer verified the dimensions of Outdoor Play Area and it appears to be accurate. The Licensee Contact will submit a revised Site Plan that includes the dimensions of outdoor play space and its property boundaries.
