Observation. Licensing audited ten children's files and two children's files were missing a record of information for an emergency contact and two children's files were missing the name and telephone number of a medical practitioner.
Corrective action. Ensure that all children's files contain a record of information for an emergency contact and name and telephone number of a medical practitioner.
3070 - CCLR 57(2)(d) - Licensee must display licence in the prescribed manner
Observation. Licensing observed that the facility's license in Room 105 and Room 107 was posted underneath the business license. During the time of inspection a staff member displayed the licence in a prescribed manner.
Corrective action. Ensure that the facility licence is displayed in a prescribed manner.
3080 - CCALA 7(1)(c) - A licensee must display in a prominent place in the community care facility the certificate of any educator or assistant employed to work in the community care facility.
Observation. Licensing observed that the Educator certificates were posted in a staff room. Staff stated that parents did not go into the staff room.
Corrective action. Ensure that any Educator or Assistant employed at the facility certificates are displayed in a prominent place.
