  Observation. Licensee stated that a fire drill had not been practiced since the facility licence was issued in February 2022.

  Corrective action. Ensure monthly fire drills are performed.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the wooden structure in the outdoor play space, on the side with the slide, had approximately two and a half feet of clearance between the structure and wooden stepping blocks.

  Corrective action. Ensure an appropriate amount of clearance are equipment is maintained.

  Observation. Licensee stated that the paper copies of children's files were kept off site. The online system used did not contain all information required by legislation.

  Corrective action. Ensure records referred to in Sections 56-58 are kept in a single place at the facility.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the last recorded outdoor play space check was completed in March 2022. Licensee stated that the daily play ground inspections were being performed, but not recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure a log is kept of all inspections, maintenance and repairs.
