  A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

  Observation. Licensing observed a two step cleaning and sanitizing procedure, with soap water and bleach solution. Manager informs that the towels used for cleaning and sanitizing are switched out daily. This can provide a risk of cross contamination. A conversation was had in regards to how bacteria and germs, or other residue can be left on the towel, and wiped onto a different table or chair if used more than once before washing.

  Observation. Licensing observed two children to be missing an emergency contact that is not the parent.

  Observation. Licensing observed one child with an expired inhaler.

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. Licensing observed a record for fire drills with no entries from September onwards.
