  Observation. Licensing observed the fire drill system was not displayed in the classroom, which presents a risk to their health and safety if their was an emergency.

  Observation. Licensing observed the new outdoor space used by the program requires equipment to meet the age and development of children in care.

  The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed two different categories of care using the outdoor play area at the same time, School Age and 30 months to School Age.

  All indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are suitable for the age and development of the children, safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)]

  Observation. It appears the child size furniture in the main play area is needing to be replaced as it is well worn, which makes it difficult to clean and the couch is ripped. The carpet in the preschool/out of school area is also worn due to continual use.
