  For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

  Observation. Licensing reviewed several care plans. One child had epilepsy medication that had expired in January 2026. One child's care plan did not have the inhaler expiry date. One child's care plan did not have the Epi Pen expiry date. This was corrected at the time of inspection. The Licensee stated that staff check the child's backpack daily to ensure the Epi Pen is present. Two other care plans were current and complete.

  Prior to employing staff the manager has met with each person and has obtained the appropriate documentation. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)]

  Observation. One staff had an RCMP criminal record check from Bridgewater Police.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. Several Life Threatening Allergy posters have expired dates for the medication or no expiry date noted.

  Observation. Staff have been conducting visual safety inspections but not recording on the Playground safety sheet.
