  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed chipped drywall and chipped paint on the corner of the wall by the bathroom.

  The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

  Observation. The Licensee is in the process of replacing some of the aging wood. Licensing observed that one board on the climber platform has a rotten edge and requires replacement.

  There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that some of the emergency food supplies had expired.

No violations recorded at this inspection.

• LICENSING / Continuing duty to informNon-critical

  Licensing has been notified immediately of any change in the information provided under Section 9 (Applying for a License). [CCLR Sec. 10(1)]

  Observation. A new Manager has appointed been for the facility. An amendment to the facilities Licence to reflect the change is required. An application form will be provided.

  Play materials and/or equipment are not safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)(b)]

  Observation. Licensing observed various broken play materials being stored behind an exit door. Licensing also observed a broken wooden shoe rack against a wall in the outdoor play area. These items are not in good repair and pose as a hazard.
