    Observation. Licensing observed nap cots to be stacked on the side of the nap room space, in a way that results in the bedding touching each other. Licensee informs that bedding is washed once a week, and on an as needed basis.

    A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

    Observation. *Quite a bit of slack was observed from the Christmas tree lights in the main activity room. This poses the possibility of entanglement. *A flexible water hose was observed to be loose and accessible in the backyard. This poses the possibility of entanglement. *The garage has been rearranged to create clear egress from the home to the backyard however during today's visit CCFL observed one corner of the garage becoming quite stacked up and full of items. There is concern of tipping and other hazards.

    The entire outdoor play area is enclosed and constructed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and ensures that children are free of harm. [CCLR Sec. 16(3)(a)(b)]

    Observation. *CCFL observed 8 round stepping stones in the backyard that were slightly concealed by grass but also sticking up enough to be tripping hazards.

    Observation. *One child's file listed only the parents as emergency contacts and one did not list the emergency contact's full name.

    Observation. *A criminal records check has been obtained for a family member to work directly with the children however the person does not have work history, 2 references, immunization status or first aid on file.
