  Observation. Licensing observed the following: *children's play kitchen set with loose cabinet doors. This can pose as a finger pinching hazard. *woven round floor cushions showing signs of wear. This item is no longer in good repair and is easy to clean.

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Licensing observed that one of the rooms appeared cold, when Licensing inquired about this they were told that the furnace that heats the room did not work. Licensing expressed the concern that when the temperature becomes colder outside, the room temperature also will be colder and this could affect both the children and Educators.

  Observation. Licensing observed that the white stools in the washroom appeared dirty and in need of cleaning.

Licensing observed the following in the outdoor play area: * The white rectangle planter has broken nails sticking out * The planting box along the fence has nails sticking out * The pallets has nails sticking out * The blue bike has a wheel missing * The tree stump in the sand area does not have a 6 foot clearance. Licensing recommends cutting the tree stump into loose parts

  Observation. Licensing observed that inspections were not conducted regularly of the outdoor play space.

  Observation. Licensing observed the following in the 4 year old program: * one of the soap dispenser's in the washroom is broken and has tape holding it together * one of the taps in the washroom is loose * one toilet was out of order due to a broken flusher * the door frame of the door to the outdoor play space is loose * the red wooden kitchen is not secured which could potentially be a tipping hazard
