The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. Licensing observed the following: *Indoor -uncovered electrical outlets in the washroom. -caulking around the toilets appeared to be worn. -a small hole in the drywall in the washroom. -unsecured shelving unit. This could pose as a safety hazard should this shelving unit fall onto a child. -cobwebs hanging from the washroom ceilings. -a piece of tape applied to the baseboard appeared to be worn. *Outdoor -wooden stumps showing signs of decay and rot. This could pose as a safety hazard.

Observation. Licensing observed that the yellow and red wooden playhouse was in bad repair. Some of the wood was rotten and splintering and some of the wood was coming away from the roof exposing the staples underneath. The Manager stated that someone had come to do some repairs on the playhouse.

Licensing observed the following in the two out door play spaces: *some of the rubber tile on the roof of the yellow/red/green playhouse was torn and coming away from the roof *there were also nails exposed *the green/red/tan plastic climbing structure was broken in some places leaving sharp pieces of plastic exposed *some of the wood was rotting on the yellow/red playhouse
